Anyone who wants to experience the MÜNCH Racing Team live, has the best chance at the Essen Motor Show. In addition to rattling exhausts, the latest concepts and infrastructure solutions will also be presented this time.

For this purpose, MÜNCH together with the main sponsor SCHOTT Solar will be presenting its electric motorbikes, possibly the new production racer and its own history relating to the legendary mammoth motor cycles.

On Sunday, 27 November, top players of the German football champions will be guests at lunchtime at the Hankook stand at the EMS. At an exclusive autograph session the stars will again be signing hundreds of Hankook footballs which will then be distributed to the fans at the show.

And motor sport will hold a predominant position at the Hankook stand. The exclusive tyre fitter of the world's most popular touring car race series, DTM, will be pleased about a first racing season which has so far been thoroughly successful. The upmarket car producers Audi, Mercedes-Benz and, from 2012, BMW as well, will also be relying on the technological know-how and the R&D expertise of the company in the DTM.

As another special highlight, visitors to the Hankook stand can therefore not only experience the cars of the current racing season close up but also obtain personal autographs of the DTM stars. The new DTM champion, Martin Tomczyk, is also expected.

Last but not least, the presenter duo, Sidney "Sid" Hoffmann and Jean Pierre "J.P." Kraemer, of the popular SPORT1 used car TV magazine programme "Die PS PROFIS - Mehr Power aus dem Pott" („The HP Professionals – More Power from the Ruhr“), which has been presented exclusively by Hankook since March, will be coming along on Saturday, 3 December for a meet & greet at the Hankook stand.

The lovely Ms Kuhlmann has another surprise for visitors. She can be seen on the cover of the December issue of FHM. In December, FHM focuses on everything to do with beautiful women and beautiful cars. Katharina Kuhlmann is the famous face of a tuning special in the magazine.

Ms Kuhlmann will, of course, be busy giving autographs at the EMS.

One prominent returnee is the BMW Group, which will be back again at the Essen Motor Show in 2011 with a large and prestigious stand with lots of highlights.

The accessory product lines, BMW Performance for BMW series vehicles and BMW (M) Performance for BMW M GmbH vehicles, will be on show. MINI is presenting the MINI with the highest performance in the product family: the MINI John Cooper Works. Fans of the makes BMW and MINI can expect to see an attractive mix of product presentations, highlights and innovations as well as an attractive supporting programme on a 650 m² stand.

An entire hall is being devoted for the first time to fully motorised two-wheelers. In hall 4 the Speed Bike Show with distinctive, bizarre and fast bikes is combined with a major exhibition area for manufacturers and dealers.

The association Sonnenroller.de will be showing at the ESSEN MOTOR SHOW 2011 that electric mobility is also on the increase for two-wheelers. It will be presenting the latest development stage as regards electric vehicles, mobility concepts and infrastructural solutions at the show. To this end, Sonnenroller.de will be exhibiting the latest Vectrix models to the visitors.

Together with US tuning icon Eddie Paul we are looking for the Ultimate Tuner. Three tuners will compete live against each other at the EMS 2011. Supported by Eddie Paul, who also created the cars for The Fast and the Furious and Cars, you will build your own super car. You provide the car, we provide the parts. The winner, announced at the end of the EMS, receives not only fame and glory but also a one-week visit to Eddie Paul's garage in the USA.

Eddie Paul is one of the most famous tuners in the world. In movies like E.T., Gone in 60 Seconds, Cars and two parts of The Fast and the Furious he not only created motorised eye-catchers but also made a name for himself as stunt coordinator. During the EMS he will support our three chosen tuners. The Ultimate-Tuner-Show will be hosted by Katharina Kuhlmann.

"This is new territory for us and we are delighted to have found an interesting partner in Europe's largest and best-known amateur off-road rally," says Dr. Martin Uhlendorf, project manager at Messe Essen, commenting on the cooperation. Henrik Strasser, head of the rally organisation, confirmed this, alluding to "unknown rally terrain": "This cooperation is indeed a novelty. But Rally Raid drivers are constantly discovering new ways, why not in such a cooperation as well!"

Initially, the 44th Essen Motor Show (26 November to 4 December) will act as an advertising partner in the 17th Rally Breslau starting next week and in the 18th Breslau Rally in Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria in September.

Like a return visit, the rally people will then turn up in the Ruhr metropolis in November for the Essen Motor Show and design a 300 m² fair stand. Furthermore, the off-road specialists will be supporting Messe Essen in the planning and implementation of an off-road course, presented for the first time, in the Motor Sport Arena.

Fans of the deep-tread motor sport will be delighted. This cooperation opens up entirely new possibilities for the public perception of the Essen Motor Show and the Breslau Rally.

The Tuner GP is entering a new era under the motto "Show what you've got." A thoroughly revised set of rules with a few technical restrictions now guarantees even more excitement. But not only the tuning companies but also private people can now enter as well.

The top-class programme of the Drift Challenge with the best drifters in Europe is, of course, ready for the off in 2011. Sharp drift angles and lots of smoke are a matter of course. Uwe Sener and Jochen Reich, who already showed how you get your car to spin at the EMS 2010 , will also be there.

OZ Racing produces aluminium wheels for all important markets such as motor racing (Formula 1, Rally, DTM, Indy Car Series), after-market, motorcycles and OEM equipment for the most exclusive vehicles. PDW is the un-disputed No. 1 from "down under". The Australian company will be at the EMS for the first time. MB Design is presenting its range of Eta-Beta rims.

And so visitors can look forward to lots of famous exhibitors with high-calibre products. For example, Alutec, Hankook and Ronal have applied again in the rim and tyre sector.

ELIA and Irmscher are exhibiting their products in the high-class tuning sector. Rieger, Hella, Sonax and Fosab are presenting a wide range of vehicles and accessories.

The number of applications for the EMS 2011 has developed very pleasingly. It is much higher compared with the same period last year.

The fair management views the very positive booking trend as confirmation of the successful re-alignment of the fair and the success of the last ESSEN MOTOR SHOW. The mainstays are the four sectors Sporty Series Vehicles, Motor Sport, Tuning and Classic Cars.

From the upmarket tuner to the accessory specialists, numerous exhibitors such as JOM, SKN Tuning GmbH, Foliatec, Oxigin, AEZ, Wimmer Rennsporttechnik etc. will be showing everything for automotive individuality at the EMS 2011. And fans can experience how cars are tuned live.

The racing sport specialist, OZ Deutschland, as well as the Australian market leader, PDW, and MB Design with its Eta-Beta rims are newcomers. Syron-Tyres is exhibiting again and Continental will be there again together with upmarket tuners. Vredestein will also be there as well as Premio, Reifen vor Ort and Reifen Go. Furthermore, the rim manufacturers Alutec, ATS, Borbet, Brock, ICW, Oxigin, Rial and Ronal have already confirmed their participation.

A "racing car exchange" is being presented for the first time in cooperation with www.motorsportmarkt.de. About 30 real racing vehicles - from a cart to a Formula 1 racing car – can be purchased on an area of some 900 m².

It brings to life the exciting development of the "Monte" and spans its history from the early days at the beginning of the 20th century up to the jubilee year 2011. The focus will be on successful vehicles which document, by way of example, the eventful history of the "Monte Carlo Rally" and the various eras of vehicle construction.

Requests have been made for vehicles such as the winning car from 1911, the "Turcat-Mery" of the French car-maker of the same name, classic cars such as the Jaguar MK II, Mini Cooper, Porsche and Audi quattro down to the Peugeot 207 S200, the winning vehicle in 2011. In addition, a whole series of successful drivers are expected - with exciting stories about the "Monte Carlo adventure".

The so-called "Speed Bike Show " for motorised two-wheelers has already been a major element on the 110,000 m² of the fairgrounds since 2009. The brand manufacturer, Suzuki, was already represented for the first time with its own fair stand in 2010 and exhibited bikes for both road and racing track to the interested public.

Numerous exhibitors want to present themselves on larger stands than before. And the automobile industry is rewarding the re-alignment of the Essen Motor Show and again concentrating on the top-class Essen motor event which is being held for the 44th time at Messe Essen from 26 November to 4 December. The four "pillars" of the Essen Motor Show will be even more attractive in 2011. The main exhibition areas are Sporty Series Vehicles, Motor Sport, Tuning and Classic Cars. In addition to extending the range relating to professional motor sport, an expansion of the motorcycle sector is also planned for example. With a return to its roots as an international sports and racing car exhibition, the Essen Motor Show 2010 found its way back again to its old strength. Both the exhibitors and visitors were thrilled by the quality and range on offer, which is regarded worldwide as unique. As a result, the members of the fair Advisory Council, where representatives of leading companies in the branch support the development of the Essen Motor Show with their specialised know-how, drew an unambiguous conclusion from the Essen Motor Show 2010: the fair has taken a great step forward and is on the right road.
