Hygiene concept

The most important information for visitors on the hygiene concept of the EMS 2021 can be found here at a glance. In addition, you can download the complete guide as a PDF file.

Vaccinated, Recovered, Tested

Vaccinated, Recovered, Tested

You will only be able to enter the exhibition centre if you have proof of vaccination, testing or recovery. The following proofs will be accepted:

  • Vaccinated: Proof of vaccination must be carried as digital proof or as a printout with QR code. For our guests from abroad: the EU digital COVID certificate is also accepted if it complies with the European certificate requirements (app or printout with QR code).
  • Recovery: A positive PCR test (or other nucleic acid proof) must be presented as proof, dating back at least 28 days and a maximum of six months.
  • Tested: Negative corona test result (PCR or rapid antigen test) from an official testing centre, which is not older than 24 h (rapid antigen test) or 48 h (PCR test).Self-tests brought along will not be accepted.

Please have your proof (vaccinated, recovered, tested) ready in a digital form that can be scanned by the CovPassCheck app.

For visitors from Germany: Children under 6 years of age and children and young people under 16 years of age do not need any proof, as they are considered schoolchildren due to their age and are therefore considered to have been tested negatively by the tests at schools. The following applies to children aged 16 and over: With a certificate from the school (student ID, etc.), they are considered to have tested negative. Without this certificate, the 3G regulation applies to young people aged 16 and over.

For visitors from abroad: Children under 6 do not need a certificate. The exemption from compulsory testing for pupils from Germany is based on recurrent testing in schools. This is very different internationally and cannot be adopted. From this follows the 3G regulation for children over 6 years of age living abroad.

Further information on entering Germany can be found on the website of the Federal Foreign Office .
