The most beautiful classic car at the EMS

The most beautiful classic car at the Essen Motor Show 2018 is a Lancia Aurelia B 52 Coupé Vignale from 1953. A jury consisting of international vintage vehicle experts chose as the "Best of Show" in the Concours d'Elégance the completely restored vehicle which has already won several prizes. On the basis of the legendary Lancia Aurelia which was named after a Roman road and was equipped with a V6 engine and a rear axle differential, the Vignale bodywork firm built a total of just four coupés with absolutely thin window posts - a special feature which provided the, at that time, totally new line of the pontoon shape with American elegance.

The rare vehicle can be seen on the Heijstee Classics booth in the Classic & Prestige Salon in Hall 1 at the Essen Motor Show. The popular performance festival with a high number of visitors is taking place at Messe Essen still up to and including Sunday, December 9. Over 500 exhibitors from 18 nations are presenting sports cars, the newest tuning trends, motorsports and classic vehicles.
